Relax (rules 1,2,3)
As a solo traveler I was there for relaxation (rules 1,2 & 3) The staff were amazing, remembering your name, your room, and just the simple things about your trip, which made you feel like part of the family and not just a guest. Always going out of their way to make your stay comfortable. I loved the location and the cost of my stay was excellent value for money. On my way back to Nadi airport, the driver called into Port Denarau for another drop off, and although it was a very beautiful place, it was so busy and very touristy. I was extremely glad that I chose to stay at Bedarra that had a more island feel about it, rather than one of the bigger resorts. Would definitely stay at Bedarra again!!
This is my third visit to the wonderful Bedarra & it just keeps getting better. Even though I had not visited for 18 months, I was immediately enfolded in great big, Fijian hugs & told "welcome home". Much has been said about the staff, food, location & rooms & it is all spot on. Bedarra offers the real Fiji, where you can watch traditional fishing methods on your front doorstep, see cattle from the next village wander past in single file & mingle with the beautiful village folk. You will not experience any of this in the large resorts. I brought my friend this time & she fell in love with Bedarra immediately. It is that sort of place. Thank you all for the most wonderful time.
Friendly, efficient and quiet
We loved our time at the Bedarra. Accommodation, food, staff and location provided a hassle-free stay. We introduced our granddaughter to reef swimming and snorkelling, for which the lagoon across the road was ideal. Although many people were staying, it felt quiet and peaceful. Staff were courteous and helpful and took a real interest in the needs of guests. The local bus into town was convenient and gave us a look at Fijian life, especially the marketplace.
We would heartily recommend Bedarra as a great holiday destination, especially one that contrasts with the larger resort complexes along the Coral Coast.
We live in Sydney and spent 10 days at the Bedarra in Feb 2015. Absolutely wonderful place! Clean, spacious rooms, fantastic menu in the hotel restaurant and friendly staff who were happy to attend to all your needs. This is the first time we have been to Fiji and feel very lucky to have discovered this lovely hotel on the first visit. Intending going back.
My husband and I stayed at the Bedarra Inn after travelling around NZ. It was perfect! We received a lovely warm welcome when we arrived and a much needed drink as we checked in! The rooms were spacious, spotlessly clean and fantastic air conditioning! The staff were truly amazing! From reception to the spa to the bar and restaurant - they were all lovely people who went out of their way for you! They greeted you with a warm smile and they all have amazing memories- they remember your name, room number and your preferred table!!
There is no doubt we would return here and also recommend it to anyone going from Wales to Fiji!!!
Holiday of a lifetime
A group of 4 of us stayed here over Christmas and it was excellent.
The bedarra beach inn is the perfect spot for a holiday to fiji. The resort is spotless with great sized bedrooms. The staff are all exceptionally friendly who go out of their way to assist in any way.
I would definitely recommend this hotel.
We loved every single minute
Vinaka vakalevu to all the great people at BBI. We stayed here for 6 nights after 3 weeks travelling through New Zealand and it was so great and lovely to just relax and enjoy the special atmosphere. Location, food, drinks, people... we really loved it!! We wish it would not be at the other side of the world for us... Best wishes from Germany!!
Stayed here with my wife for 3 nights. Excellent customer service and very friendly staff. Rooms were clean and food was delicious!! Loved it!!
ABSOLUTE GOLD RESORT
My friend and I stayed at the Bedarra in November for a friends birthday at the Outrigger. Out of 18 guests only 4 of us stayed at Bedarra but I can truly say that we had the better accommodation by far! The rooms were huge and spacious, and the bathroom huge. We had a deluxe room with a small verandah which looked out over the garden towards the pool and we often sat out here and relaxed in between relaxing!! I have travelled quite extensively and I would have to say that the staff here were one of the most fun, friendliest, helpful people I've ever met. We developed a great rapport with them and they knew us by name, as we did them very early into the stay. Our resort was so loved that even our friends from the Outrigger preferred to come to our resort several days in a row for happy hour where the staff also ended up knowing their names. The happy hour was something we looked forward to every day. And whilst we didn't eat every single meal at the restaurant, when we did the food was just absolutely divine. The rolls for lunch were totally melt in your mouth with the fresh baked bread every day by the Chef. I think because the resort is smaller there was less children here, which suited us as it made it more peaceful to laze around the pool every day. It was perfect as it was only about a 7 minute walk to the Outrigger if we wanted to see our friends and dine with them and also a short walk to other delicious restaurants and bars like Koko's Bar & Grill and the Swiss Restaurant where we had some awesome meals. I could go on and on about the Bedarra because it was just the BEST place EVER to stay in Fiji, we were so lucky for our first visit to find this place and when I return to Fiji I don't think I would consider staying anywhere else....totally loved it!!! Thank you to you all for making our stay so awesome and fantastic.
Home Away from Home
What can I say except that when we arrive at Bedarra we feel like we have come home. The accomodation and the meals are of a very high standard. The staff, well you can't get better elsewhere. The beautiful smiling faces and the warmth of the staff make you feel like part of the family. Nothing is too much trouble. Bedarra is within walking distance of Kula Eco Park, The Outrigger and Koko's bar and grill. Sigatoka is just a short drive away. The wonderful front desk staff are more than willing to accomodate most requests. Visit number 3 was in November 2014 and the welcome back I received I have never experienced anywhere else in my world travels. We are already planning our next visit to beautiful Fiji and it goes without saying that 2 weeks of the 4 will be spent at Bedarra with our Fijian family. Vinaka vakalevu to all the wonderful staff.
