We returned from the Yasawas to the mainland and after reading favourable comments on various sites were not at all disappointed. We had a wonderful stay. Interestingly some of the island resorts miss the mark on what a large section of tourists need. Most want genuine contact with fijians not contrived and a pleasant easy going holiday. Our accommodation was more than adequate and we are already planning a return visit. Thank you for a lovely visit. Fantastic staff..they hit the mark!

Friendly, Relaxing, Wonderful Holiday

Feb 26, 2014 by Devon & Cam

Nothing was too much trouble for the staff at Bedarra, smiles were plentiful from the cleaners to the bar staff, the concierge went to extra trouble for us, the restaurant served delicious food every night, the accommodation was spotless, right on the beach for great snorkelling and kayaking, only a 4 day holiday but it felt like a long time, no phones or televisions meant a real getaway and we couldn't have come home more refreshed. Already planning a return visit, couldn't recommend more highly. Thank you so much Bedarra staff you really made our vacation. Vinaka!!

amazing!

It was our first time in Fiji and we decided to stay at Bedarra for 10 days! It was a great decision!! The resort was very well kept and the staff made it that much more enjoyable. My favourite part was the evening where most of the staff would be working and there are smiles all around. Most staff remembered the guests names and would come up to ask about our daily adventures. I especially enjoyed the serenading that took place around happy hour and dinner time! Thank you to all the staff that made it that much more interesting ;) You know who you are :) miss you all!

Best Hotel In Fiji!

Feb 24, 2014 by Zachary Gillman

I had the privilege of staying here for five nights in January. While the heavy rains and flooding dampened my spirits a little, the Bedarra Beach Inn kept me grinning ear to ear. I have stayed in so many hotels in my travels and I can say without hesitation that this was one of the more memorable stays I've ever had ANYWHERE.
I had read great reviews about Bedarra and that is why I ultimately chose staying here, but I was very nervous because Sigatoka seemed too far from the airport and I was a bit nervous about driving. I rented a car for the week and the (roughly) 90 minute drive from Nadi Airport was such a lovely drive. I'm SO glad I didn't stay the week in Nadi. The county is as lush and green as any I've ever visited. I was so happy to arrive at the hotel and the weather was perfect when I did. I was greeted with a cold drink and friendly service from the moment I walked in. I was also given the "Honeymoon Suite" which was an extra bonus! The grounds of the property are spotless and the landscapers take great care in their work and it shows. The beach is 15 steps away from the property. While the beach is small, it's incredibly peaceful. I was unwinding from two weeks in Australia and NZ and needed some SERIOUS alone time and nothing could have been better than Bedarra. The staff is amazing. They all take time to learn your name and will chat with you the whole time. The cafe/ restaurant was a dream come true. I ate every breakfast, lunch and dinner there and couldn't have been happier. It's probably the best food in Fiji. My first night I had the Cajun Ahi which was so delicious. Every meal I left stuffed and excited for the next! I MUST recommend the passion fruit cheesecake. I wanted to try all their desserts but was truly addicted to this one in particular and ordered it five nights in a row!
I will say one more thing... to me, this felt more like a honeymoon or "REALLY RELAX" type hotel and it was PERFECT for that. There were two couples staying at the same time as me and while their babies were cute, they would get very loud and annoying sometimes. It's hard to relax and enjoy a nice meal on the beach with a one year old screaming and throwing her food on the ground. I'm sure the Bedarra is nothing but gracious to families, but I feel this hotel is better suited for couples, solo travelers looking to relax, and honeymooners.
I can't say enough good things about this hotel. It is the ONLY hotel I'd even consider upon a return visit to Fiji. Please forget about money and just treat yourself to the best hotel in the South Pacific! If you don't mind staying in the Coral Coast region, you MUST stay here. A thousand "vinakas" to the staff and owners of this absolutely stellar establishment!!!

Totally relaxing

Feb 23, 2014 by John Cheshire

Our five night stay at Bedarra Beach Inn was totally relaxing and pleasurable. Our rooms were spacious, clean and well appointed. The bar and restaurant presented drinks and food that you always wanted again. Amazing that the smiling staff remembered so many names. The gardens, pool and beachfront are all beautifully maintained. If it matters to you the Wi-fi connections were very good!

Perfect getaway location!!

Spending a week in Fiji was a much needed rest and staying at Bedarra was the perfect location and atmosphere for a true holiday relax. The staff was lovely and so sweet. The facilities were always clean and the rooms were spacious and comfortable and we were very ell taken care off. The bbi Spa was great starter for relaxation after the flight and Happy Hour made our stay even happier!. The prices were affordable and the food presentation and quality reflected the four stars we give Bedarra. The location was perfect and the atmosphere was ever at ease and warm. We had a great time and truly enjoyed our stay, already missing the warm, smiley staff and Bedarra's excellent accommodation and service. Bulla!

Just returned from a 5 night stay , which should have been 6 , however bad weather in Nadi forced us back there a day early.Reception kindly advised us of forthcoming heavy rains & possible cut roads.
The accommodation was spacious , comfortable & well kept & also enjoyed a nice outlook over the pool & beach.
Happy Hour & the Restaurant were excellent , with an extensive & varied menu . Prices were very reasonable.
We really enjoyed our stay & will long remember the happy , smiling staff & great service.

Great place to stay

Jan 28, 2014 by Chris & Mariska

We just got back from 7 nights at the Bedarra. It was a fantastic place to stay ! Perfect for a romantic getaway, or for staying there with family.
The rooms were awesome, and just refurbished. The Bedarra hit just the right spot with great value, but not all the unnecessary trimmings like room service or in-room TV. The pool was fantastic, as was the location across the road from the beach.
The restaurant food was delicious, and the service was at just the right level. Thanks especially to Antony for looking after us, especially at Happy Hour !
We could find nothing to fault this place, and look forwards to coming back again.
Bula and thanks to all the team.

Great service at a great price!

We recently travelled to Fiji to attend a friends wedding. We decided to stay at the Beddara Beach Inn, what a good choice!
All the staff members were extremely friendly and it was obvious they had a passion for customer service. As I told the owner before departing, I couldn't fault any of his staff members during our stay, definitely a 10 out of 10.
While there was no TV in the room (which we already knew from the website) there was heaps to do, after all, we didn't fly all the way to Fiji to watch TV.
The food at the resort restaurant was excellent, this resulted in us eating nearly every meal there, it was also noticed that people were travelling from other resorts to eat at the Beddara. Great food also for a reasonable price.
Should we return to Fiji we will definitely be going back to the Beddara Beach Inn and it is more than recommended for others.

Like coming home

Jan 10, 2014 by Mick Reilly

We have just returned from a 2 week stay at our home away from home Bedarra Beach Inn. This being our 3rd stay at Bedarra we knew that it would be hassle free and relaxed. It was good to see the little changes and improvements and also to see the nice cosy feel had not been lost. It was also great to see nearly all the same staff we had met on previous visits and within hours of arriving it felt like we had never left. Yes the rooms are , well roomy and the food amazing the location idyllic but it was ,as always the staff who make this hotel such a wonderful place to stay. I will not single out any body in particular because each and every one who works there are like friends and will do anything to make your stay happy. We have progressively had longer and longer stays each time and it is never long enough.Whilst not a criticism , it would be good for the hotel to provide activities for the older children who seem to be there more frequently these days. I could find superlatives in the dictionary to describe Bedarra but nothing beats saying it is like a home away from home. Thank you again to all the staff ,my wife and I will miss you, Ok especially Manoa ( and his twin Lol) , Betta and beautiful Lucy you are treasures.
